Welcome to Pokrova Camp 2011!

Camping at St. Sophie's brought back valuable memories to our campers and personnel. There is something truly blessed in the wild nature around the Camp.
Meeting with campers and personnel is tentatively scheduled for
June 17, 2011 (Friday), 19:00 at the Parish Hall:

Pokrova Camp 2011 will be held at the same place as last year: At St. Sophies'.
Fees: If registered before June 15, 2011 the fee is $ 275.00 per week.
Late registration (after June 15, 2011) the fee will be $ 350.00 per week.
We encourage you to apply early to save and to have a guaranteed place for your child as the places are limited. If due to unforseen circumstances you will need to cancel your application you can do so with a full refund until June 25, 2011.
Families, wishing to send more than one child to Pokrova Camp we will offer a discount. Also, single parent families will benefit from a discount.Finally, members of St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church, St. Georges parish in Lachine and St. Sophie's Cathedral in Montreal together with our sister parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in Ottawa will also benefit from a discount from the regular fees.
As always, at the end of the camping season you will get a photo DVD with high-resolution photos free of charge.
How to apply
First, fill out and email us the application form using Adobe Acrobat reader available here. Alternatively, you may fill out this form on your computer, print it and send to us via regular mail.
Second, print out the medical form, visit your family doctor or walk-in-clinic with your child and ask physician to fill this form for your child.
Third, issue a cheque payable to St. Mary the Protectress Church Mission and enclose the medical form and the application itself (if you did not submit it electronically) to:
